So how much Niagen® do I take?
We recommend at least 300mg of Tru Niagen® per day to get the best healthy aging benefits. Our study shows that a minimum of 300mg per day increases NAD+ up to 50% after two weeks.
More importantly, our NDI (New Dietary Ingredient) notification to the US Food and Drug Administration supports that 300mg per day is safe to use.
Can I take more than 300mg?
We have several published human clinical trials that have included supplementation sizes larger than 300mg per day under medical supervision. The subjects of these studies did not experience any attributable adverse events during their participation.
Why are there two capsule sizes (150mg and 300mg)?
Our customers started asking for fewer capsules per serving and more environmentally friendly packaging. So we listened.
With half the capsules in a 30-day supply, we introduced a smaller, more environmentally friendly bottle. But we decided to keep the 150mg option for select customers who like to split their daily 300mg into two separate times of the day.
